Why do Minnesotans put toilet paper in their refrigerators? ?

       So why are people in Minnesota, Iowa and South Dakota putting toilet paper rolls in their refrigerators?
       What would you think if you were visiting a friend and he asked you to go into his refrigerator and buy a soda, and when you opened the door you saw toilet paper on the shelf of his refrigerator?
       The source is that many hotels place toilet paper in the refrigerator to absorb odors… like opening a box of baking soda.
