Bunnings sells industrial size toilet paper that will last all year round

To ensure you don’t miss out on your favorite new stories, we’ll be happy to send you reminders.
Panic buying of toilet paper continues in Australia due to the coronavirus outbreak, so there’s an alternative you might not have thought of.
But where can you get something without alienating everyone else, like a scene from Mad Max?
Everyone’s favorite DIY store Bunnings sells industrial-sized toilet paper that will last you a whole year if used sparingly.
For just $42, you can buy an 8-pack of Scott Essential Jumbo Paper Towel Rolls, which is equivalent to about 2,400 meters of toilet paper.
You can also buy a six-pack of Kleenex rolls, which is equivalent to 1,800 meters, but it will cost you $75.
They added: “If anyone is really desperate, Bunnings sells industrial rolls, which are usually found in large dispensers in public toilets.
Over the past three weeks, people across Australia have been shopping quietly or chaotically to stock up on toilet paper.
The panic buying was sparked by fears that coronavirus could impact supply as people race to stock up on supplies in case they are told to self-isolate for two weeks.
CCTV captured a stampede over toilet paper at a supermarket in the Sydney suburb of Guildford. Note to yourself:
The video initially shows a seemingly empty aisle, but when the store opens, people calmly and quickly make their way to the toilet paper aisle.
When the clip ends, there are only a few packs of toilet paper left, even though the shelves were full seconds ago.
Aldi had to introduce a rule limiting people to one pack of toilet paper per person to ensure everyone had access to toilet paper. The video clearly shows that people are not following the rules.
The budget supermarket has also had to scrap a campaign to include toilet paper in its special offers.
A statement released earlier this week said: “Due to unexpected demand for certain products over the past week, our special offers on Emporia Toilet Tissue and Handee Ultra Paper Towels will be available in stores ahead of our scheduled on-sale date (Wednesday, March 11).
“As a result, these special offers will only be available in a limited number of Aldi stores. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
