NRDC releases its annual Tissue Matters Scorecard (pdf), which provides sustainability ratings for popular paper products based on material source, bleaching process, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification and other factors.

I’ve been using bidets at home and on the road for almost a decade and highly recommend them. You will still have to use toilet paper for drying and spot checking, but the bidet significantly reduces toilet paper usage in my house.
